Following the success of his previous playlist track collection, VeeAlwaysHere has released a brand new playlist which he has titled “broken: playlist II”. The collection of eight tracks takes the listener on a genre-defying journey of love, healing, and self-discovery. This release acts as the follow-up to the third single release from this collection, titled “joker”.

VeeAlwaysHere, a captivating Korean American music artist, comes from Siberian Russia with an extraordinary passion for music deeply influenced by the vibrant currents of American Pop. Despite language barriers, he was drawn to music’s storytelling power, leading him to craft songs even as a child, defying initial linguistic constraints. His exceptional journey saw him conquer the English language in a remarkably brief span of two and a half years, opening the door to his self-taught musicianship encompassing production, writing, recording, and mixing. Today, VeeAlwaysHere stands as a seasoned artist, weaving a rich tapestry of musical styles and emotions. With an unwavering commitment to excellence and driven by his relentless dreams, he’s earned recognition as a rising star in the industry. His track, “Sober”, taken from his debut studio album of the same name, is currently his most-streamed track on Spotify with over 106k streams. Poised to carve a lasting imprint on the music world, VeeAlwaysHere brings forth a unique perspective and remarkable talent that resonates beyond boundaries.

The eight tracks from his playlist collection, titled “broken: playlist II”, showcase the journey VeeAlwaysHere is currently on dipping into a variety of different themes. VeeAlwaysHere teams up with two different artists, Maria Ellis and Ted Park, on two of the tracks from the collection, “pink roses” and “I don’t dance”, respectively.

Starting the project off with “pink roses”, which is a collaboration with Maria Ellis, we hear how VeeAlwaysHere fears rejection and heartbreak and so refuses to seek clarity in his love life. Accompanied by a piano, VeeAlwaysHere tells such an honest story through his beautiful vocals that it touches the hearts of every listener. Soulful vocals kick in for the chorus with some epic runs and incredible harmonies, right before Maria Ellis stuns us all with her incredible vocals that match VeeAlwaysHere so perfectly that they were destined to collaborate on a song together. “out my head” follows next, continuing the story and admitting his affection. The track is more upbeat, starting off with a piano segment before boosting into a pop number that VeeAlwaysHere matches, showcasing his versatility. Next up is the title track, “broken”, which is a raw storytelling track that allows him to confront himself and his feelings as well as his life and understand that he needs to work on himself first and foremost. The intense lyrical content is paired with soulful beats and a stripped-back vocal that’s wrapped around an engaging progressive backing rhythm.

“I don’t dance” is the fourth track and sees VeeAlwaysHere collaborate with Ted Park hitting a hip-hop style that allows him to showcase incredible versatility. The addictive flow of the track with Ted Park putting his signature stamp all over it really brings the storytelling to life as we follow the artists down an avoidance and denial theme. Both artists mesh well together giving a unique verse style that makes this track stand out and highly relatable to the listeners – we’ve all been like this and felt this way. Track five is “irl” and sees VeeAlwaysHere flit back into mainstream pop with a killer falsetto that would send chills over any listener as he confesses his feelings and how he wants this person in real life. “joker” is next up which is a full-on power ballad where he realises the detrimental cycle of falling hard and fast which leads to him hurting himself. Once again he hits that perfect falsetto that conveys so much honesty and feeling that you can tell he is hurting.

Track number seven is “outside” and sees the project on a concluding trajectory as he realises that he needs to make his own well-being his first priority. Versatility and genre-defying, VeeAlwaysHere jumps into a dynamic hip-hop production with brilliant flow verses and relatable lyrics and one catchy chorus. The playlist collection ends with “somebody”, which is a synth-heavy pop production with wholesome hopeful lyrics about knowing that his future somebody is out there whilst also being honest with himself that there are moments where he feels lonely and wishes that somebody – his one – would turn up in his life already. This is highly relatable and many listeners would not only agree with him but know exactly where he’s coming from.
