Juan Calleros is a Mexican musician. He is the bassist for rock band Maná. Fher Olvera is also a member of the band.
He is the son of Alicia Ramos López and Julián Calleros Díaz. He has a daughter with his wife Erika.
Juan’s paternal line can be traced back to his eighth great-grandfather, Martín Fernández Partida.
Juan’s paternal grandfather was Aurelio Fernández Calleros (born Aurelio Fernández Cayeros, the son of José Fernández Flores and Simona Calleros López). Aurelio was born in Autlán, Jalisco. José was the son of José Crisanto Ramón Hernández Brambila (later Fernández Brambila) and María Antonia Plutarca Flores Covarrubias. Simona was the daughter of José Guadalupe Espiridión López Calleros y Hernández and Josefa López Rubio.
Juan’s paternal grandmother was Rosario “Rosa” Díaz Rosales (the daughter of Felipe Díaz Navarro and Adulfa Rosales Plazola). Rosa was born in Casimiro Castillo (then-part of Autlán), Jalisco. Felipe was the son of José Viviano Díaz Pelayo and María Natividad Navarro Araiza. Adulfa was the daughter of José Francisco Rosales Ríos and Mariana Simona Encarnación Plazola Carrizales.
Juan’s maternal grandfather was Miguel Ramos Hernández (the son of Francisco Ramos Araiza and Micaela Hernández Madrigal). Miguel was born in Cocula, Jalisco. Francisco was the son of José María Ramos Santa Cruz and Mateana Araiza Rojas. Micaela was the daughter of Antonio Hernández Real and María Madrigal Sánchez.
Juan’s maternal grandmother was Julita, later Julia, López Pelayo (the daughter of José Macario López Gómez and Juliana, later Julia, Pelayo Águila). Juan’s grandmother Julia was born in Autlán, Jalisco. Macario was the son of José Gerardo López Naranjo and María de la Luz Gómez Pelayo. Juan’s great-grandmother Julia was the daughter of Apolinario Pelayo Fonseca and María Sabina Águila Pelayo.
