Real Housewives of New York City star LuAnn de Lesseps has made a lot of bad choices recently, but she doesn’t seem to care. She chooses her cabaret act over everything from her sobriety to her friendships, and now it looks like she has ripped off designer Betsey Johnson.
According to AllAboutTheTEA.com, de Lesseps has copied Johnson’s “Royal Engagement Heart” necklace and is trying to pass it off as her own. De Lesseps’ “Royal Heart Sweater” necklace is almost exactly the same, but this isn’t the first time someone has accused the reality star of fraud.

During the summer of 2018, de Lesseps’ own family accused her of theft after she violated her divorce agreement. When De Lesseps and her ex-husband, Alexandre, settled their divorce in 2009, she got the house in Bridgehampton, New York, on the condition that she would set up a trust fund for their two children, Victoria and Noel, which she was supposed to fund with half of the interest in the mansion.
However, LuAnn never set up the trust fund, and then she sold the home for $8 million so she could downsize to a $3.1 million property in Sag Harbor. Alexandre, Victoria, and Noel ended up suing Luann and they settled in April 2019.
LuAnn’s bad choices have caused her some serious problems with her family and friends, and that was clear during the cast trip to Miami when Bethenny Frankel exploded over the Countess’ diva behavior and her obsession with her cabaret act.
But, it doesn’t look like LuAnn got the message. Instead, she told Extra that Frankel’s meltdown wasn’t about her, but about Frankel’s friend Dennis Shields, who died from an apparent drug overdose last August.
“It felt horrible. It was horrible for her to unload all of her dirty laundry. I felt like the punishment didn’t fit the crime. I think she had all these issues bottled up with me that she never spoke about, and they all came rising to the top along with her issues with the loss of Dennis,” said LuAnn.

She added that Frankel hurt her because she chose a restaurant with a bunch of people around to confront her instead of speaking to her privately. De Lesseps says she feels bad for Frankel and it was tough to watch.
It’s obvious that LuAnn de Lesseps is not understanding the issues her co-stars have with her, and her diva behavior is going to continue.
